Hello,
I would like know if a smart "no running" mutator exists and can be used without generating boring matches...
...I found a "no running" mutator somewhere but this counts the overall position of the player over a map and not the action taken by the player itself (running/crouching/xlocing) so even the xloc movement is considered a "running action"...not so useful at all !
Are there UScript methods in the "Pawn" class that can be used in order to render the "no running" action more useful ?
Both of these just calculate the moved distance and take off health. Been a while since I used these but I think 20 has a bug when riding an elevator and sees it as movement.
The other one is Slow it down. This gives you a grace period and counts down for you. Then when you run it has a count down of how long you can run. You can set the number of warnings to give before the penalty is applied. When the warnings are up points are taken away. I have 2 versions of this one too.
Really the only difference here is V4d will let you run all you want with a trans. V4e will let you set if you can get penalized with the trans or not.
Hope this helps.

"NoRunning" is exactly the mutator I found some time ago and as you said, it calculates the overall moved distance and takes off health. It is pretty unfair because players can't either xloc and they can only move by crouching.
"Slow it down" is better: yeah, v4e lets you to set safe/not safe the translocator movements over a map and this is surely more useful for everyone (on the contrary, v4d has the same behaviour of "NoRunning", xlocing is not permitted)
This is a smarter "no running" mutator and it can be used during matches without limiting too much play and fun. That is my choice.
Thank you very much again for the infos, greatly appreciated
